Devy Bert lost 49 lbs and counting! I was wearing a tight size 16, and now I’m down to a loose size 8
Eric you are a huge motivator. You encourage me when I don’t think I can push myself any longer. You commend me when I do something right. When you’re out there sweating and breathing hard, you want to hear good comments and know that you’re doing it right. When I ask a question I’m unsure of, you don’t answer it like I’m a dummy and should know. You also add a lot of humor to the work out. Laughter always does the body good! Each day is a different day. It breaks up the monotony exercising in general.
Thanks Eric
James started with me at 61 years of age at 27% body fat, lethargic and disgusted with himself. Now a year older(but looks ten years younger!) he has dropped over 20lbs of fat and increased over 10 lbs of muscle. He is more confident than ever and has dropped an astonishing 13% body fat.

I’ve been a member of Gold’s a little over a year after I canceled my membership with 24 Hours.
Since my last few visits, I decided to attend a group exercise class. I am not a fan of group classes, because based on my observations/experiences, some instructors are either cocky, impersonal, or they focus on a select few of his/her repeat participants (their favorites/groupies).
I walked in this week on Tuesday, preparing for the worst, but giving it a try, since I wanted to try something new and change my routine a bit. I was greeted by “Instructor Eric” and Eric immediately started building rapport with me in light conversation and asking questions. Based on my answers he kept building rapport which in turn made me feel comfortable and prepare for the workout. During the workout Ill admit the ladies kicked my butt and as any man with testosterone, you start to feel inadequate when you are struggling, running out of breath, in the midst of young, and mature woman who are passing you by. Eric kept going on and encouraging everyone, specifically with key statements of, “don’t stop, we are almost done with this section, come on…”
Because he built that upfront rapport with me, it felt those words were directed to me personally, which gave me the courage to continue. His final statement as we wrapped up on Tuesday was, “See you Thursday Alvin?” WOW, an instructor remembered my name. Talk about peer pressure, I could only say yes, and woke up this morning to attend his kick boxing class. He asked me today, “How do you feel, sore?” WOW, again, he noticed and followed up with me on my experience.
What impressed me about Eric were his professionalism and his respect towards the members (all women except me). Too many times I see male/female instructors asking the basic questions before a class, “Is anyone new, is this your first time?” Then you get the 30 second elevator speech on how to prepare, with no eye contact, while the instructor is busy preparing the music that will be played, as they prepare themselves since, they either arrived on time, late or they were talking to their groupies about personal topics, overlooking the new participants that are trying to figure out the environment, the crowd and making a decision to either try it out, or walk out. Other instructors are over the board flirtatious and/or are arrogant and cocky that conveys a sense of “look at me, its all about me.” Eric is the exception to my descriptive observations. He includes everyone in the class, makes you crack a smile at 5:15 IN THE MORNING and ensures everyone feels welcomed and appreciated by acknowledging you when you walk in the room, looking at you when he speaks, and welcoming everyone back for another workout.
It’s people like Eric and his interpersonal skills that make any workout a pleasurable experience for young, old, fit, unfit members. He has the technical skills but it’s his interpersonal skills that contribute to the success of drawing new customers and existing members to your facilities/classes. You can have a great facility, but the people who work in the facility is what draws people in.

Eric,
LOSING 80 POUNDS
A look back at how I got from 270 to 190
My name is Trey Hamiter. I turned 45 on September 25 2009. On August 1 2008 I weighed 270 pounds. I had been at or near that weight for the better part of six years. I had been steadily gaining weight for the last 20 years. During that time I popped antacids on a regular basis and felt sick at my stomach much of the time. My adventures in the rat race required me, or so I thought, to live on a diet of fast food and coffee.

In May 2009 I reached the 199 level. I was so happy to be under 200. I had weighed 210 on my wedding day 19 years earlier. I continued working out and eating the right foods through June until I reached 190. I don’t ever recall feeling better in my life. It was not easy and I had to make sacrifices to get to 190. But I felt as though I was among the living again.

Eric,
I wanted to say thank you so much for the sweetner articles. Actually my husband is you’ll’s patient, but I have been reading all of these sweetner articles. Since he has been coming to you’ll I’ve been trying to make better choices for myself as well. We have pretty much gotten rid of most of the processed food, and tried to stick with the recommmended sweetners. We have used Stevia for years. I just started using Agave, great stuff, especially if you don’t like honey. I found that I don’t use all of the arthritis pain relievers that I used before I dropped the diet soda’s. I had switched to the splenda, because of the nutra sweet problems, should have known that I would have one for the splenda as well, it just didn’t seem as bad. Thanks and keep up the great work.

I hope my notes finds everyone there well.
I have been in America twice since Christmas for a few days. Rex and Nancy have saved me!
Take care and please keep your articles coming. They are like receiving letters from Family! Also, Please walk into the next room and give Nancy the biggest hug from me….I think of her multiple times though out my day.

Down 11 lbs since the new diet. No cokes for 10 days and I averaged 4-6 per day.
David
Thanks for all your recommendations. I am enjoying your blog. Must say that 125 BPM doesn’t feel like much but I did sweat when I maintained it for an hour. Will be modifying my weight lifting routine per your recommendations as well. I even ate breakfast a few times. With these changes, I expect to look just like your blog picture next time I see you …right?
Sanford
With proper diet and exercise you can achieve your goals.
Thanks Eric and Aimee

Simon: Before 290 lbs. After 178 lbs.
Eric,
I have just started my third week of dieting and have lost 12 lbs. I have been getting in about 200g of protein a day and spread that out over 6 to 7 meals a day. I will only eat fresh vegetables and those are all steamed for a few mintues. If it does not come from the outside area of the supermaket I am probably not even touching it. Not sure what the bodyfat percentage is, but I am wearing clothes that didnt fit before and have to buy new belts.

More Coming Soon!!!

Eric and the Wrona Fit X Factor bootcamp has been a great motivator for me. I joined the camp at the end of December 2010 and have been going ever since. It has really increased my fitness level, and I have lost body fat and inches. The class variety is great. No two classes are the same, Every day is a new surprise!! Love it! Linda B
The group of trainers are the best of the best. The support I get is what makes me get up every morning at 415. I am a mother of 2, and work full time. That workout is for ME…it is my time. I love it. I adore the people that are there, and the motivation I get from Eric, Tom, Jason, LeAnn and April. No two classes are the same. I am continuously challenged, and make milestones weekly. From not being able to hold a plank for even 10 seconds when I started to holding them for over a minute now. My body is changing, which I love…but more importantly so isn’t my mind. I feel good, less stressed and when I am having a bad day I can go to Eric for help. This is the place, and trust me……..you will feel it too!
